The easiest option is to call the master gager, which is provided by many construction companies and sellers of the windows. It is clear that it costs money, even if they do not charge you a penny for it (the amount is already included in the price of the window). The second option is to find a plumber or carpenter with straight arms at the entrance and supply him with 0.5 liters of capital.

In fact, measuring and installing plastic windows with your own hands is a simple matter. First you need to get the exact width and length of the window opening without taking into account garbage (wooden frame, plaster, dirt). According to GOST, we need to leave 20 mm for thermal insulation around the perimeter of the window construction , an additional 35 mm should be left for the window sill . That is, we measure the width and height of the opening and tilt it to 50 mm - this will result in the necessary parameters of the new window.

STEP 1: install the wooden bars below and on the sides. Using a hacksaw, cut wood rectangles 20 mm high and 5 centimeters long (dimensions can be slightly larger, depending on the desired clearance). Important: wedges and bars should be installed near future anchors. At this step, the installation of plastic window sills ends, now it is necessary to put 4 cans of cucumbers evenly throughout the window sill (so that it will freeze) and let the window rest for 3 days from you, so that the foam will finally harden. You can put 3 bricks, without a difference, the main thing is to apply pressure from 10 kg and more. At an air temperature of +25 hardening will take 40 hours, if it is cold and wet, then you should wait a little longer.

Do-it-yourself installation of ebbs and slopes on plastic windows

Fix the ebb is very simple. We calculate its dimensions in the same way as on the window sill; the only difference is a large slope from the window, so that the water does not linger and disappears immediately after being hit. Fasteners can be made with foam or with standard screws, the reflux is screwed to the support profile (the one on which the entire window is located).
